Conversational Conflict Resolution: A Walk in the Park

Use this page to return to the full route at any point during the walk.

The Four Stations

Station 1 Listening

Children’s Garden + Little Nature Library / Bench

• Curiosity • Noticing • Wonder

Begin by slowing down, noticing what is present, and listening before interpreting.

Station 2 Analyses

Knot Garden / Perennial Garden

• Patterns • Perspectives • Roots

Look beneath the first story. What patterns, pressures, or needs may be shaping the conflict?

Station 3 Soliloquy

Bonsai & Penjing Garden

• Restraint • Patience • Inner Shaping

Pause before dialogue. Ask what you are carrying into the conversation.

Station 4 Dialogue

Conservatory Edge

• Shared Space • Different Perspectives • Connection

Bring listening, analyses, and self-awareness into a shared conversation.
